Let’s first answer the question: “Is it allowed to sail on the canals of Amsterdam during the corona crisis? The answer is yes! With a number of things to look out for you will have a wonderful day on the water. Always keep 1.5 m away from others on the jetty and on the boat. And do not go outside when you have flu symptoms.

How many people are you allowed to sail with?

From the 1st of June, the rules for sailing in Amsterdam have been changed. You can go boating with more people now. Because the Eco boats are spacious enough to keep a distance of 1.5 meters, it is allowed to sail with a maximum of 12 people if you are a household. There are different rules if you are not a household.

What measures does Eco boats Amsterdam take?

We ask all our customers to keep a distance of 1.5 meters. Wait at the top of the jetty until you receive a signal from an employee and you can take a seat on your boat. You don’t have to leave a deposit to avoid contact. Always follow the instructions of employees and if it is busy, the drop-off location may be different from the drop-off location.
