You’re the captain

You are the captain and are allowed to steer the boat yourself without a boating license. We’ll explain everything before departure, and it’s not difficult. You steer easily with a steering wheel. We’ll also provide you with a map of routes. You must be at least 18 years old to be the captain.

Additional activities

During your boat trip, you can choose from the following extra activities for a small additional fee per person:

  • Plastic fishing
  • Amsterdam canals quiz

Plastic fishing

Looking for a fun and eco-friendly activity during your boat ride? Try plastic fishing! For just €3 per person, you’ll receive all the equipment needed to fish plastic from the canals. It’s a fun activity for all ages, and you’ll also be helping to keep Amsterdam cleaner. Together, we can keep the canals plastic-free!

Amsterdam canals quiz

Play the Amsterdam canals quiz while cruising for just €3 per person! You’ll receive a set of questions about the city, along with pen and paper to record your answers. Choose someone as the quizmaster to keep track of the answers. Who will answer the most questions correctly?

The quiz is available in two versions: one for children and one for adults, each with its own level of difficulty. When making your reservation, let us know how many participants will join, so we can provide everyone with their own quiz sheet.
