The biggest party in the city is back August 1st and what better way to experience the Amsterdam Pride Parade is, of course, from the canals themselves. Rent a private boat for you and your group and guarantee the best view of countless beautifully decorated boats. Eco Boats Amsterdam have secured several exclusive spots right along the parade route on the canals. Renting a boat from us, means you will be assigned a designated area where our skipper moors prior to the Gay Pride Parade, this will be your meeting and boarding point for the day.

You can choose from the following options based on your group size:

  • Small boat without a skipper for up to 12 people
  • Large boat with a skipper for up to 30 people

Please note: You do not sail in the parade, The boat is assigned a spot along the parade route where it will be parked for the duration of the parade.

Do you want to celebrate Amsterdam Gay Pride with a large group? Our larger boats can accommodate groups of 30 people allowing you to host your own private party that will leave all other spectators of the parade jealous.

  • Price includes an open bar: beer, wine (chilled rosé and white wine), and soft drinks
  • Food is not included, but you can bring your own of course
  • Ideal viewing point along the Prinsengracht, all you need to focus on is enjoying the moment
  • Boarding starts at 10 AM, and the event lasts until approximately 6 PM

Our smaller, 12 person boats are also available to rent for the entire day, and include a permit for specialised parking along the Pride Parade route. You get a private boat with space for up to 7 to 12 people, depending on the boat you choose. Meet and board your boat at your assigned spot along the Prinsengracht and enjoy the celebration! Of course we want everyone to have a nice day and enjoy it. That’s why it’s important to stick to the rules below. That way it stays fun for everyone and you can be sure that you will have a successful day, without any hassle.

  • Do not throw waste into the water or leave it on the docks. There is a special waste service where you can dispose of your waste.
  • Do not play music on the boat, this is forbidden and also unnecessary because there will be music on the canals.
  • For the smaller boat rentals, the boat cannot move from the assigned spot.
  • Do not spray water at the parade boats.
  • Do not throw anything at the parade boats.
  • You may not swim or jump into the water.
  • Do not enter houseboats without permission of the owner.
  • Drink in moderation, it’s a long day.
  • Enjoy!

Once you’ve sat at your designated area, there are only two things left to do; enjoy and wave. Enjoy everything that passes together with your company, the tasty snacks and drinks you brought, the music and the atmosphere.
