Eco Boats Amsterdam has secured a few spots on the canals during the Amsterdam Canal Parade. Because nowadays, you need a permit to moor a boat along the route. We’ll assign you a zone where you can dock your boat during the Gay Pride.

Rent a boat where you are the captain

Do you want to rent a boat that you can sail yourself? (no boating license required). With us, you rent the boat for the entire day, including the permit. You’ll have your own private boat with space for up to 7 to 12 people, depending on the type of boat you choose. Sail to your designated spot and enjoy the celebration!

Private boat with captain during Amsterdam Gay Pride

Prefer not to sail the boat yourself but enjoy the celebration in a private boat with a captain and space for up to 30 people? Rent the IJdok boat with your group.

• The price includes an open bar with options for beer, wine, and soft drinks.
• Note: food is not included. You may bring your own snacks.
• You’ll have a private captain, so no need for a designated driver.
• Boarding starts at 10:00 and lasts until approximately 18:00

Gay Parade Amsterdam rules

Of course we want everyone to have a nice day and enjoy it. That’s why it’s important to stick to the rules below. That way it stays fun for everyone and you can be sure that you will have a successful day, without any hassle.

• Do not throw waste into the water or leave it on the docks. There is a special waste service where you can dispose of your waste.
• Do not play music on the boat, this is forbidden and also unnecessary because there will be music on the canals.
• The captain must stay sober. So decide in advance who will steer the boat.
• Do not spray water at the parade boats.
• Do not throw anything at the parade boats.
• You may not swim or jump into the water.
• Do not enter houseboats without permission of the owner.
• Drink in moderation, it’s a long day.
