Eco Boats Amsterdam

The Heren Boat

Amsterdam moves quickly on land. On the water, you set the pace. The Heren Boat is a spacious self-drive boat rental for 10 people. Perfect for friends, families, and groups who want to explore Amsterdam at their own pace. Take the wheel, follow your chosen route, and enjoy Amsterdam without sharing the boat with other guests.

Drive the boat yourself without a boating license

You are the captain of your own boat. Before departure, our team explains the steering controls, possible routes and the main rules for boating in Amsterdam.

No previous boating experience is necessary. The Heren Boat is controlled with a steering wheel, and you receive a route map to take on board. The captain must be at least 18 years old and remain sober throughout the rental.

Boat rental location in Amsterdam East

The Heren Boat departs from Daniël Goedkoopstraat 1, 1096 BD Amsterdam. The minimum booking duration is 2 hours, giving you enough time to leave the dock, settle into the cruise and explore the Amsterdam canals at your own pace.

A mandatory city tax of €2.60 per person is added during booking. This charge applies to all boat rentals in Amsterdam.

Optional activities for your boat trip
