Are you allowed to rent a boat in Amsterdam during covid? With the covid measures taken by the RIVM and the municipality of Amsterdam it is sometimes not entirely clear what is and is not allowed. Therefore, we have listed our corona measures in Amsterdam for you.
Are you allowed to rent a boat in Amsterdam during Covid?
Yes, you are currently allowed to rent a boat in Amsterdam. However, a number of additional rules apply. From 26th of june
- A maximum of 6 people are allowed on board.
- A maximum of 8 people are allowed on board, provided that they are from one household only.
- Practice social distancing (1,5m)
- Kids under 13 years can be excluded from the maximum amount of passengers.
Boat Rental Amsterdam Covid Rules
We at Eco Boats, have taken a number of extra Amsterdam boat rental corona measures to ensure that boat renting during covid remains safe.
- Fewer people are allowed on a boat if you’re with multiple households.
- We ask all our customers to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from people who don’t belong to your household.
- Wait at the top of the jetty until you receive a signal from an employee and you are allowed to take a seat on the boat.
- Everything else is completely contactless.
- You don’t have to leave a deposit to avoid contact.
- Always follow the instructions of our employees
- If it is very crowded, the drop-off location may be different.
