We are Eco Boats Amsterdam, a proud Amsterdam-born company with a passion for sharing the city’s canals in a modern, sustainable way. As the sister company of Canal Motorboats, the oldest boat rental company in Amsterdam since 1996, we combine decades of experience with a fresh perspective on boating.

Our boats are brand-new, fully electric, and built with the latest technical innovations and high-quality materials. After years of working in the industry, we set out to create something better: a fleet that is not only comfortable and easy to navigate, but also kind to the city we love.

At Eco Boats Amsterdam, we offer a range of canal experiences designed for different ways of exploring the city. You can rent your own boat and navigate the canals at your own pace, join a standard canal cruise with a skipper, or choose a private boat experience tailored to your group.

From relaxed sightseeing to fully organised private cruises, our experiences are built for everything from casual days on the water to special occasions. Our private boats can be customised to suit your plans, with options such as cocktail cruises, BBQ boats, pizza cruises, and other tailored experiences.

Sustainable by Nature

We believe that enjoying Amsterdam’s canals should never come at the expense of the environment. That is why our entire fleet is fully electric: quiet, clean, and emission-free.

We also actively encourage guests to help keep the canals clean. During your trip, you can choose to go plastic fishing, turning your cruise into a small but meaningful contribution to preserving the city. We provide all the necessary equipment on board, so you can enjoy the experience while making a difference.

Three Locations, Multiple Boats

Eco Boats Amsterdam offers a range of boats to suit different group sizes and preferences. Each boat has its own character, capacity, and pricing, so there is always an option that fits your plans.

You can start your journey from three convenient locations:

• Amsterdam Central Station (Stationsplein 18) – canal cruise
• Amsterdam city centre (Zandhoek 22) – boat rental
• Amsterdam East (Daniël Goedkoopstraat 1) – boat rental

Whichever you choose, your boat will be ready for you, and you will return to the same location after your cruise.
