Boat rental internship

Where will you be interning?

We are located at 4 locations in Amsterdam and growing rapidly. Our fleet consists of a total of 57 independently navigable boats and 6 large boats. This is divided between our two boat rental companies: Canal Motorboats and Eco Boats Amsterdam. When you apply with us, you get the opportunity to intern with both boat rental companies. This way, no day will be the same!

Fun fact: Our sister company, Canal Motorboats, has been in operation since 1996, making it the longest-lasting boat renting company in Amsterdam.

What will you be doing?

• Customer acquisition and renting out boats
• Providing explanations about water safety rules
• Assisting our guests remotely as well
• Gaining knowledge of various sales techniques
• Gaining experience in website management
• Learning about social media strategies
• Managing and improving booking systems
• Learning to handle complaints
• Immersing yourself in branding strategies

Who are you?

• Business administration or hospitality student
• You are representative and customer-oriented
• You are independent and responsible
• You want to enhance your English
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
