Boat rental internship

Where will you be interning?

We operate from multiple locations across Amsterdam and we are growing fast. Our fleet includes electric self-drive sloops for independent exploring, larger sloops and saloon boats for private tours with a skipper, and canal cruise boats for group departures, all spread across our two companies: Eco Boats Amsterdam and Canal Motorboats. When you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to intern for both, meaning no two days will ever be the same.

Fun facts: Eco Boats Amsterdam is the city’s premier eco-friendly boat company, and our sister company Canal Motorboats has been sailing Amsterdam’s canals since 1996 making it the longest-established boat rental company in the city.

What will you be doing?

• Customer acquisition and renting out boats
• Providing explanations about water safety rules
• Assisting our guests remotely as well
• Gaining knowledge of various sales techniques
• Gaining experience in website management
• Learning about social media strategies
• Managing and improving booking systems
• Learning to handle complaints
• Immersing yourself in branding strategies

Who are you?

• Business administration or hospitality student
• You are representative and customer-oriented
• You are independent and responsible
• You want to enhance your English
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
