Our boat rental in Amsterdam East is located at Daniël Goedkoopstraat 1, 1096BD Amsterdam. This is at the site of E-Harbour. If you pick up the boat here, you must also return the boat here. Make sure to arrive 15 minutes early so you can depart on time.

Step 1

Step 2

Park your car or bike at the location marked with ‘P’ in the image above. Then walk to the gates of E-Harbour.

Step 3

When you arrive at the gates of E-Harbour, wait there until your group is complete. Then enter the code 12020 to open the gate. (Note: the ‘2’ may sometimes get stuck.) Walk all the way to the end of the pier. One of our staff members will welcome you there and assist you further.

Walking from Amsterdam Amstel Station

Are you coming from Amsterdam Amstel Station? It’s about a 15-minute walk to our boat rental in Amsterdam East. Walk across Amstelplein towards Spaklerweg. Then it’s just straight ahead until you reach the junction with Amstelstroomlaan. Turn into this road and you’ll see Daniël Goedkoopstraat on the left. Our boat rental is located at Daniël Goedkoopstraat 1.

By car

  • There are several parking options near our boat rental location in Amsterdam East. For example, you can park at Q-park Spaklerweg. Check the Q-park website for current rates.
  • You can also park via ParkBee. This is a website with multiple affiliated parking garages in Amsterdam where you can park at various locations in the city at a favorable rate.

By public transport

From Amsterdam Amstel Station

  • Take metro 51 towards Isolatorweg, metro 53 towards Gaasperplas, or metro 54 towards Spaklerweg and get off at Spaklerweg metro station. It is a short ride of only 1 minute. From there, it is about a 500-meter walk to our boat rental location in Amsterdam East.

From Amsterdam Central Station

  • Take metro 54 towards Gein from Amsterdam Central. Within 8 minutes, you will reach Spaklerweg metro station. From there, it is only a 500-meter walk to our boat rental location in Amsterdam East.

Certainly! You can hire a private large boat, including a captain and catering and/or activities. The private boat accommodates 30 people, ensuring exclusivity for your group, with catering options. Or you can rent multiple smaller boats that you can sail yourself. This means you are the captain. No boating licence needed! You can choose between different extra activities:

We offer various extra activities when you rent a boat from us. You pay a low rate per person. Choose the activity as an extra when booking. Extra activities for renting a small boat and self-sailing
  • Plastic fishing: €3 per person

  • Silent disco: €7 per person

In addition to the regular boat rental fee, we are obliged to charge city tax at €2.50 per person. This applies to all boat rentals in Amsterdam.

Certainly! You can hire a boat with us during various events, such as King's Day, Gay Pride, and the Amsterdam Light Festival. The rental usually starts 4 to 6 months in advance. So, make sure to book in advance to secure a boat.

Do you need to sail yourself or is there a captain?

Please note: on King's Day, you always rent a boat with a captain. You can rent both the small boats and the large private canal cruise boat with space for 30 people. On other holidays/events, you are allowed to sail yourself.

Food and drinks

Regarding food and drinks on King's Day and Gay Pride: On the small boats where you are the captain, you may bring your own food and drinks. On the large boats (30-person boats), it's only allowed to bring your own food. We will arrange the drinks for you.

Plastic fishing is only possible when you rent a boat to sail yourself. You can fish for plastic while sailing for a low rate of €3 per person. You will receive all the necessary equipment on board to fish for plastic from the canals during your boat trip, including nets and garbage bags. It’s not only a lot of fun, but also good for the environment!

Yes, we have life jackets for children available. This is free of charge.

The rates vary per boat. We offer 4 different self-drive boats. You rent a boat for a minimum of 2 hours, and pay a low amount per hour for any additional time.
