Book a private canal cruise with an open bar and tapas in Amsterdam. Perfect outing with friends and family or with your colleagues as a team-building activity! Together we will explore Amsterdam from the water, which we believe is the best way to get to know the city. If desired, our skipper will provide explanations about what you see along the way. There is space for 30 people on board, but you can make it as intimate or elaborate as you like, since you have the whole boat to yourself! It is also possible to enjoy fun activities during the cruise, such as a silent disco and a quiz.

Tapas and unlimited drinks

There is an open bar with unlimited drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks). You will also receive various tapas platters with delicious small bites such as:

Capacity

There is space for 30 people on board, but you can make it as intimate or elaborate as you like, since you have the entire boat to yourself. You can book the boat for a minimum of 10 people.

City tax

In addition to the regular price for the boat, we are required to charge a city tax of €2.60 per person, so please specify the size of your group in the next step.

Open or partially covered boat

The boat is open or partially covered. We decide this ourselves at the start of the day based on the weather and external factors.

Departure location

We start just before Amsterdam Central Station, near Stationsplein 18. If you prefer a different departure location, please contact us or mention this in the quote.

Includes experienced skipper

The rate includes an experienced skipper who will operate the boat. This allows you to relax with a drink in hand and discover Amsterdam in a unique way. If desired, our skipper will provide explanations of what you see along the way.

What is the minimum age for driving a boat in Amsterdam?

You have to be at least 18 years old to drive our boats.

Who has priority on the canals of Amsterdam?

Always give priority to commercial shipping and boats that are longer than your boat. This includes canal tour boats. Beware: always giving priority means from both left and right!

Certainly! You can hire a private large boat, including a captain and catering and/or activities. The private boat accommodates 30 people, ensuring exclusivity for your group, with catering options. Or you can rent multiple smaller boats that you can sail yourself. This means you are the captain. No boating licence needed! You can choose between different extra activities:

In addition to the regular boat rental fee, we are obliged to charge city tax at €2.60 per person. This applies to all boat rentals in Amsterdam.

Certainly! You can hire a boat with us during various events, such as King's Day, Gay Pride, and the Amsterdam Light Festival. The rental usually starts 4 to 6 months in advance. So, make sure to book in advance to secure a boat.

Do you need to sail yourself or is there a captain?

Please note: on King's Day, you always rent a boat with a captain. You can rent both the small boats and the large private canal cruise boat with space for 30 people. On other holidays/events, you are allowed to sail yourself.

Food and drinks

Regarding food and drinks on King's Day and Gay Pride: On the small boats where you are the captain, you may bring your own food and drinks. On the large boats (30-person boats), it's only allowed to bring your own food. We will arrange the drinks for you.

Plastic fishing is only possible when you rent a boat to sail yourself. You can fish for plastic while sailing for a low rate of €3 per person. You will receive all the necessary equipment on board to fish for plastic from the canals during your boat trip, including nets and garbage bags. It’s not only a lot of fun, but also good for the environment!
